Swakopmund to Windhoek via the Boshua Pass

The C28 is the shortest (not quickest) route between Swakopmund and Windhoek. Travellers enjoy this road because of the diverse scenery ranging from the "Moonlandscape" near Goanikontes to the hilly Khomashochland. We recommend taking the detours marked in green that will really show of the Namib Desert.

These detours require permits since they are located in the Namib Naukluft Park. One permit covers all the suggested detours.

The Bloedkoppie Tinkas 4x4 trail is moderate but is restricted to 4x4 vehicles only.
