Tsumeb Information

Tsumeb is the largest town in the North of Namibia with a population of about 40000. It is also the closest town to the Etosha National Park.

The town was founded in 1905 by the German colonial power and celebrated its 100th year of existence in 2005.

Tsumeb is primarily a mining town and it's history reflects that.
